YMCA Camp Ernst: A Legacy of Adventure and Values
YMCA Camp Ernst was started in 1928 by my wife’s grandfather, Willard Wade. Our children have enjoyed summer camp since age 6 and will soon be LID’s (leaders-in-training). Camp Ernst is the most popular residential summer camp in the Greater Cincinnati area, offering week long programs each summer for campers ages 6-15. Steeped in tradition and built on the values of honesty, caring, responsibility and respect, Camp Ernst hosts campers who enjoy top notch counselors and make friends, doing a wide variety of activities including zipline, banana boat, 100’ waterslide, giant swing, horseback riding, and the BLOB!
YoungLife: Embracing Life, Faith, and Fun
YoungLife invites kids to follow Christ, care for them regardless of their response, and change lives in the process. Young Life is made up of people like you – who know that life was meant to be fully lived. If you’re in middle school, high school or college, there’s a seat at the table. YL promises three things: you’ll have outrageous fun, you’ll always belong and we’ll talk about what really matters in life – including God’s extravagant love for you.
